Sonia Marin, University of Lleida, Spain
Sonia Marin developed her PhD thesis at Lleida University in the field of molds and mycotoxins in foods. Since 1999 she worked as a postdoc in several EU Projects, sharing her time between Lleida and Cranfield University in the UK. In 2006 she took a position as senior lecturer at Lleida University, till present.
Sonia mainly works on prevention and control of mycotoxins in foods and raw materials, mainly in postharvest. She has participated in 17 research projects, 6 at European level. Her research has resulted in near 200 publications in international journals.
